Guess Who’s Back?!?

Well, it’s been a minute since I sent out a blog!

No worries, I’m back and ready to send more gems your way

I’ll be sending monthly blogs on topics to help you launch, grow, and scale your Black woman-owned business. If you have a topic you’d like me to discuss, email me at Sammi@MelanatedBusinessCoaching.com.

In the meantime, check out what I’ve been up to since our last blog.

  • Morgan Stanley Small Business Academy – I was honored to participate in the MSSBA’s inaugural cohort! This was an AMAZING opportunity, and I recommend you register also!

  • Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses – This program is no joke! It is excellent for growing and thriving businesses. I’m still in the national program, and we graduate in May. Check it out!

  • Wharton Knowledge for Impact Award – As a recipient of this award, I received a scholarship to complete programming at The Wharton School. You can also apply to receive a scholarship.

As you know, I’m a serial entrepreneur, and both of my other organizations have continued to thrive! I changed the recruitment model for my full-service marketing agency, 628 Digital Design, and we now have 4 part-time employees and 3 independent contractors.

Many of you have heard about the Collaboration of Minority Women Professionals (CMWP). I am the President & Founder, and our leadership team includes our Vice President & Co-Founder, Latisha Douglas and Randi McCray, who help with strategy. CMWP has also experienced changes, including the launch of our nonprofit, CMWP Foundation, Inc. The nonprofit is an entrepreneurial support organization empowering Black and minority men, women, and children entrepreneurs. Don’t worry, CMWP membership is still available! I welcome you to join if you’re not already a member!
