5 Organizational Strategies for Business Success
Now’s the time to stop playing small and get serious about the success of your business!
These five organizational strategies will help you stop wasting time, energy, and losing money in your business. Whether you’re just starting out or have been in business for a few years, these practical techniques will help guide your entrepreneurial journey.
Use cloud storage or other electronic filing systems to reduce paper usage when applicable. I use Dropbox and OneDrive.
A physical filing system should be color-coded and categorized in one of these formats:
Alphabetical
Numeric
Alphanumeric
You should have a designated business drawer or filing cabinet to keep all of your physical files organized.
Establish business hours to inform your clients and your team of your availability. This will also help keep yourself on task because designated business hours allow you to schedule your day and accomplish daily business goals.
Select an integrated business management solution or customer relationship manager (CRM) tool such as Dubsado, to manage clients, contracts, emails, invoices, and other business processes.
Integrated systems save you time from accessing multiple systems and tools to operate your business.
Create daily to-do lists to track tasks and record daily accomplishments. Use a calendar, Google Docs, or an app such as Slack, Trello, or other tools to set and create to-do lists or ticklers for yourself, your clients, and your team.
To ensure you’re regularly engaging with your social media audience, you should create, plan, and schedule your social media posts and email campaigns. Social media posts and email campaigns increase traffic to your website, improve brand awareness, and generate sales.
If you are unsure about social media posts or email campaigns, discover more at Sam’s Word.
Business success doesn’t happen overnight. However, through active and intentional repeated actions, you can achieve your business goals.
